SOLDIERS & MONKEYS

Hi guys,

As I announced recently, I would like to introduce you my new personal project: "SOLDIERS & MONKEYS". The military theme is one of my favourites, I really love it and motivates me a lot, I have always wanted to do a serie of illustrations relationated with it. On the other hand, I LOVE MONKEYS! so I've decided to merge both topics as main idea.

This work is just for fun, I want to make it at the same time I'll be working in other projects, for this reason I don't want to say a specific date for the updating of the new images. I don't want to use always the same technique either, so I'll use the one I like the most depending on each illustration.

Como anuncié hace poco os presento mi nuevo proyecto personal: "SOLDIERS & MONKEYS". La temática bélica es una de mis favoritas, me apasiona y me motiva bastante, tenía muchas ganas de hacer una serie de ilustraciones relacionada con ella. Por otra parte, ¡ME ENCANTA LOS MONOS! así que he decidido fusionar ambos temas como idea principal del mismo.

Este trabajo es por disfrute personal, así que lo iré intercalando con otros proyectos, por lo que no voy a poner una fecha concreta con las publicaciones de nuevas imágenes. Tampoco quiero darle una unidad en cuanto a técnica sino que iré usando la que más me apetezca dependiendo del tipo de ilustración.

These days I've been uploading in my social networks some previews about my tribute to Katy Perry in her video Dark Horse, finally you can see the whole Illustration.

I'm a big fan of Katy Perry, in fact, I already have my ticket for her concert here in Spain! I'm so excited! When I saw this video for the first time I though that it was perfect and original to make a painting about it! I really hope you like it!

I would love that Katy Perry could see it. So I would be very grateful if everybody could help me sharing it on internet (Facebook, Twitter...)

Estos días fui publicando en mis redes sociales algunas previews sobre mi homenaje a Katy Perry en su video Dark Horse, finalmente puedes ver la ilustración completa!

Soy una gran fan de Katy Perry, de echo ya tengo mi entrada para su concierto en España. ¡Que emoción! La primera vez que vi el vídeo de Dark Horse pensé que era muy original y perfecto para dedicarle un dibujo. Espero que os guste!

Me encantaría que Katy Perry pudiese verlo, así que estaría muy agradecida si me ayudaseis a hacérselo llegar compartiéndolo por las diferentes redes sociales.

READY FOR NEW STUFFS VERY SOON!!

Hi guys,

It's been a long time since I'm not update my blog. I put my projects on the back burner for a short time because I wanted to study and improve my English. I need to make a big change in my life and I'm thinking of moving to L.A. (California). I would like to apply for a grant in order to continue studying art or to be able to get a job there. I know It's not easy but I never give up on my dreams and I want to work very hard to accomplish it. It would be wonderful if I could move my drawings in U.S.A.

On the other side, I'm very glad because now I have much more time so as to continue drawing, so you will have new updates very soon! During these weeks I'll introduce you a new personal project of illustration too. I hope you like it as much as me. I'm very excited about it.

Thank you very much for your patience and support. It's very rewarding when people are visiting my blog in spite of the fact that I haven't updated so often.

Hola Chicos,

Siento mucho no haber podido actualizar mi blog durante estos meses. Decidí aparcar por un corto periodo de tiempo los proyectos en los que estaba trabajando y esforzarme al máximo estudiando inglés. Quiero hacer un gran cambio en mi vida, y he tomado la decisión de hacer todo lo posible para poder mudarme a "Los Ángeles" (California) bien a través de una beca para ampliar mi formación artística o por trabajo, sé que no va a ser fácil pero al menos debo intentarlo, me encantaría aprovechar y mover mis dibujos por allí. 

Por otra parte, estoy muy contenta de tener el tiempo que necesito para continuar dibujando, así que pronto tendréis nuevas actualizaciones. En estas semanas también os presentaré un nuevo proyecto  personal de ilustración en el que he comenzado a trabajar. Espero que os guste tanto como a mí. Estoy bastante entusiasmada con él.

Muchas gracias por vuestro apoyo y sobretodo por vuestra paciencia, ya que a pesar de no haber actualizado el blog en estos meses, habéis seguido visitando mi website.

ARTIST ALLEY FICZONE 2014
